BURN BAN UPDATE: At the City Council meeting on August 21, Council approved a 30-day extension to the burn ban and authorized the Fire Marshal or Mayor to lift it early should the KBDI, as monitored and reported by the Texas Forest Service, reach and maintain a 400 or less for five consecutive days.
