The City of Manvel announces the return of the End of Summer Spectacular, now in its second year! Enjoy an evening with friends, food, and fun at this family- and pet-friendly event. This year, festivities will move to a new venue, Croix Park, 4503 County Rd. 84, on September 23 from 3 - 7 p.m.
The second-annual End of Summer Spectacular promises to be an event to remember as the City once again brings families, friends, and neighbors together to celebrate the end of summertime! The event will provide an array of attractions, including food trucks, games and prizes, music, a selection of bounce houses and inflatables, water balloons, and a slip and slide. Children and families are also invited to explore a real cruiser and fire truck provided by the Manvel Police and Fire departments, peek into ambulance operations with Fire EMS, and tour heavy equipment with Manvel Public Works!
This year's event is highlighted by the strategic move to Croix Park, a decision influenced by feedback received after the last End of Summer Spectacular. Responding to community input, the City has taken steps to ensure this year’s experience offers more shade, comfortable seating, and convenient parking— making Croix Park the ideal venue! And while you’re there, be sure to check out the park’s new playground equipment, picnic tables, and accessible walkways.
Parking provisions have been made for attendees' convenience, allowing for general parking on designated grassy areas and reserved accessible parking in the parking lot, ensuring easy access for all eventgoers.
