Citizens Police Academy

The Manvel Police Department is hosting a Citizens Police Academy program. We are inviting you to participate in classroom lectures, demonstrations and interactive activities relating to the different facets of the police department. The program will be held every Saturday from June 10 - July 29 from 10 am -12:30 pm.
 
The purpose of the Citizens Police Academy program is to develop a lasting partnership between the Manvel Police Department and the community it serves; by promoting an understanding of the police department’s functions and procedures, through education. The goal is to enhance the lines of communication to prevent crime and create a safe community.

The program is FREE. If you would like to participate, applications can be obtained from the Manvel Police Department at 6615 N. Masters. You can contact Officer Carr-Lacy at 281-489-1212 or rcarrlacy@manvelpd.org to have an application sent to you.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
